1、 Comparison of ultraviolet sterilization and traditional mercury lamp

Led not only has achieved full-color luminescence, but also can emit infrared and ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet mainly refers to the band between 400nm and 100nm, which can be divided into UVA, UVB, UVC and uvv. Among them, the uvv band from 200nm to 100nm can only propagate in vacuum. UVA is burn band (main use for curing at present), UVB is medical band (medical repair function), deep UV UVC is sun blind band (sterilization, etc.). It can be seen that sterilization is closely related to wavelength, only UVC band can kill bacteria, not all ultraviolet rays have bactericidal effect. In terms of the effective band of sterilization, the wavelength should be between 240nm and 280nm, the main UV wavelength of mercury lamp is 254nm, and the wavelength of UV LED is generally 275nm. Some studies have pointed out that the 265nm band is the most effective sterilization.
